Hi My guestbook is not working!!!
1) Website Address: www.tinkeltonkel.com
2) Guestbook Location: http://www.tinkeltonkel.com/site/pages/guestbook.html

I am using frames!, yes
I have added the code to my html page.
I have uploaded the swf file to the server.

Its should now work but it doesn't. Maybe its got something to do with my use of frames? After i did a scan of on the trouble shooting page this came up: The actual Flash Guestbook file was not found. Then i read more about the frames...
"If your site uses FRAMES, the "Guestbook Location" you entered in your admin panel should be the URL of the page the guestbook is embedded in, not the page that holds the FRAMESET. "

So I tried this information instead on my settings.
1) Website Address:http://www.tinkeltonkel.com/site/pages/guestbook.html
2) Guestbook Location: ../images/flash_guestbook.swf

It is still not working, what I am doing wrong?, anybody got a tips?
Its should be so simple but its not ;(

I have had a look at your guest book and the error that comes up states that the code you are using is not the embedded code provided. Can you check that you have copied/pasted the correct code and that nothing is added or taken from the provided code.

yes its definitely the correct code without any changes. Its is copied into an html document, where I am using frames. This is the problem i think. The setting are
1) Website Address: www.tinkeltonkel.com
2) Guestbook Location: http://www.tinkeltonkel.com/site/pages/guestbook.html

Do i need this information in the control panel?

2) Guestbook Location: ../images/flash_guestbook.swf

I did drag the downloaded flash file into the browser to test what it is and the "ops" message appear. Did i receive the right swf file?

In the control panel under the Profile tab you need the following:

Website address:

Guest book location:
http://www.tinkeltonkel.com/site/pages/guestbook.html

Also make sure that you have uploaded/published the flash guest book SWF (the flash movie).

Hi Ryan.

Yes I tried to make this work doing it in 2 ways.

1) I copied and pasted the code into the html document as suggested on your website.

This didnt work and no flash/image file appeared at all.

2) Now i tried to do a standard link direct to the flash file in the image folder. At least this way i get an image but unfortunately its says "ops."

As you suggested in your email I am now trying only with option 1).
As you can see now I have no image showing at all. I have not changed the original code and are making sure it is copied and pasted intoo my html document without any changes.

My setting are in the control panel:

Website Address

Guestbook Location

http://www.tinkeltonkel.com/site/pages/guestbook.html


The flash file is published/uploaded to my image file.
I believe its my frames causing the problem or that I have recieved the wrong flash file, as the trouble shooting still states: flash_guestbook.swf not found - ●
