Your guest_book.html is in the root folder of your website. Is the flash file in the root as well? From what you are saying it looks like there is a folder in the root folder containing the flash and the html should be there as well.

So the folder file structure should look like http://www.clabbyyouth.co.uk/guest_book/guest_book.html

Sorry if thats what you have done already, but it was my first thought

I can't see the code provided by 'Flash Guestbook'.

All I see is your your code?

Where did you paste the code from 'Flash Guestbook'?

Hi, I posted it in dreamweaver on the guest_book.html page which is in the guest_book folder, I assume by your question I may have pasted it in the wrong place!

But as I said before, the link to the guestbook on the site is not in the guesrbook folder. Just check your folder tree

Try using this:
-------------------------
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
</head>

<body>

Your Flash-Guestbook code here.....

</body>
</html>

--------------

Don't links to Adobe unless you use a table or Div's, keep the book code completely seperate from everything else. if you want people to update Flash use a detector.

Dear Clabby,

The problem was the location you stated in your admin panel as the location of your guestbook. You had entered:

http://www.clabbyyouth.co.uk/guest_book.html

as the location, but the actual location is:

http://www.clabbyyouth.co.uk/guest_book/guest_book.html

We have corrected that error for you and your guestbook is working now.
