Here's my guestbook page:

http://www40.brinkster.com/blucozmos2/NovaMisc/guestbook.html

I tested it in IE and it works just fine. It displays in firefox just fine however you can't select any of the fields in order to enter text. Other flash guestbooks have worked fine for me with firefox.

Can it be that there's something in my page that's interfering with it? (Yes, the page is a little small but I don't want to change the whole site just to fit the GB).

Thanks!

I ended up getting rid of the tables that the guestbook was in, and it seems to be working now.

That page doesn't mesh completely with the rest of my site, but at least it's functional.

Is there a particula reason that the GB doesn't work in tables?

I'm really pleased with the guestbook. It looks stunning!

Dear Acornah,

Flash does function in tables, but it does not react well when the width and/or height of the Flash movie are designated with a percentage. Flash's dimensions must be specified in pixels in order to display within a table.

Dear Ice,

The problem you mention is a problem within FireFox, if you try the guestbook in other browsers it works fine. We know of this problem and we will be releasing a newer version of the guestbook soon that will correct this problem.

Dear James1,

As mentioned above, we will be releasing a fix to this FireFox problem soon, hopefully in the next few days if all goes well.

Check your guestbook...

I've just tried it with:

Firefox

Safari

Camino

Oprera

Netscape

All works fine apart from the dynamic text box, but then I use a Mac!

And have you posted a message (or even tried to) The @ will not work, as is noted several times above

This problem has been solved.

Please login, go to your admin panel, and grab the new EMBED code for the guestbook. Getting the new SWF would probably also be good.

We have also added a feature which allows you to download a complete HTML page with the code already embedded into it, for those who don't feel comfortable editing HTML.
